January 2020

The first live broadcast of an endoscopy took place in the former Czechoslovakia, in Prague, in 1993 as an official course of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE). Women in Endoscopy is proud to support this important conference.

Prague Endoscopy Days will take place on 30-31 January, 2020 at the Corinthia Hotel in Prague. Join Women in Endoscopy for a unique opportunity to experience a historic landmark, which has been turned into the Museum Kampa, exhibiting pieces of Central European Modern Art, collected by Dr. Meda Mládková during her exile in France and USA. Registering for the WIE event, being held at the Werich Villa, located in the heart of Prague on Kampa Island, the program will focus on the specific problems of women in digestive and especially interventional endoscopy.

The Two-day Prague Endoscopy Days will include not only live broadcasts of endoscopies performed by both international guests and local endoscopists, but also hands-on courses, lectures and discussions on various endoscopy-related topics.

Please make sure to register ahead of time for the WIE optional event on the Prague Endoscopy Days registration page, found in the link below.
