Research scholar Dr. Yang Yang of Northwestern University lead a study which revealed 75% of women in leadership maintain a female-dominated inner circle. The study, titlted "A network's gender composition and communication pattern predict women's leadership success," was published on January 22, 2019 in the Proceedings of the National Academy of sciences.
